A rare forest turtle Indotestudo elongata found in
the Kapilash forests of Dhenkanal District. We keep a close watch on poaching networks which target such species for the pet trade.

Waterfowl are trapped in local reservoirs and waterbodies and sold at weekly markets in Mayurbhanj District. The Society keeps a close watch and informs the forest officials about this so that they can conduct raids to halt the trade.
